DESCRIPTION:More than 1\,800 children in the Issaquah School District who receive free or reduced-price school lunches don't have access to these resources when school is out. Our Summer Lunch\, Lunch for the Break\, and Power Packs programs play a vital role in ensuring children have easy access to healthy food at all times.\n\n\n\nOur annual fundraising campaign capped off with a fireworks celebration has raised more than $370\,000 since 2015 to support childhood food security in our community. Last year alone\, our community came together to help raise over $73\,000\, which provided breakfast\, lunch\, and snack foods for over 550 children for an entire month. With your help and our partnership with The KLD Group at Windermere Real Estate\, hundreds of children will be ensured sufficient nutrition every day of the year.\n\n\n\nIn these times of rising costs and reduced SNAP benefits\, we need your help more than ever. Please join us as we raise funds to continue supporting our youngest citizens.\n\n\n\nThe fireworks will be launched from a barge off the western shore of Lake Sammamish about halfway between Vasa Park and Lake Sammamish State Park. Any spot along the southern part of the lake should be a great viewing point!\n\nVasa Park will have free admission and parking all day (9:00 a.m. 11:00 p.m.)\, live music\, food & drinks\, and lifeguards on duty. \n\n\n\nOur dedicated event hosts at Kritsonis Lindor Dalyrimple are matching donations of $500 or more up to $20\,000!\n\nDONATE
