DESCRIPTION:Trout Unlimited's 7th Annual Kokanee Fun Run\n\n5-km & 10-km\n\nSaturday\, September 29\, 2018 9:30am\n\nLake Sammamish State Park\, Issaquah\, WA\n\nYour entry helps support the Kokanee Salmon recovery work of the Trout Unlimited. The Kokanee are unique to Lake Sammamish and are in danger of becoming extinct. Some of Trout Unlimited's work includes: protecting the Kokanee's access to spawning areas\, educating fisherman to properly identify Kokanee\, educating residents about in actions they can take to help kokanee recovery\, and more.\n\n\n\nT-Shirt - All runners will receive a FREE tech t-shirt featuring the custom salmon artwork above by Shaun Peterson!  T-shirts come in Medium Youth   Adult XXL and are unisex.\n\n\n\nCourse Description - The course is a 5k loop\, starting out on paved park paths (67%) and then finishing on wide\, grassy trails (33%).  The route is basically flat\, with no hills. 5k participants will do this loop once\, and 10k participants will do it twice.\n\n\nAid Station\n\nThere will be one aid station at about 1.7 miles into the loop.\n\nAid stations offer water\, electrolyte drink\, and some carbohydrate-rich or salty foods\, such as cookies\, pieces of energy bar\, gels\, chews\, chips\, bagel\, fruity candy\, fig bars\, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches\, and/or bananas.\n\n\n\nSchedule\n\nSATURDAY\, September 29\n\n8:30am   Check-in and day-of-event registration opens\n\n9:30am   Race Start\n\n10:30am   Raffle and awards\n\n12:00pm   Course closes\n\n\n\nDirections & Parking\n\nNote that parking at this park requires a Discover Pass.
