DESCRIPTION:The Downtown Issaquah Association presents the 9th Annual Issaquah Zombie Walk.   The community of all ages is invited to dress up as Zombies and congregate at the Historic Shell Station\, crawl along Front Street and then dance to Michael Jackson's THRILLER and the Rocky Horror's TIME WARP songs on Saturday\, October 27th.  \n\n \n\n"I'm thrilled how big the Zombie Walk has become and is now a fun tradition in Issaquah for 9 years now." said Tom Gotuzzo\, one of Issaquah Zombie Walk founders.  "My intention has been to bring people together for a celebration of community and friendship while enjoying our wonderful town.  It's always a "killer" good time". \n\n \n\nThe un-dead will begin to congregate at the historic Shell Station (232 Front Street) at 1:30 pm for make-up\, practice the Thriller and Time Warp dances\, connect with friends and make new ones\, plus more.   The official Zombie Walk starts at 4:30 pm when the zombies devote 30 minutes to attracting the attention of motorists\, diners and passers-by on Front Street.  Then at 5:00 pm the Zombies take over City Hall just east of Front Street\, and dance to Thriller and Time Warp songs on the City Hall steps. The event is free\, open to all ages and zombies of all skill levels. \n\n \n\nThe Studio at Issaquah will offer THRILLER dance classes Friday\, October 12 & 19 from 7:30-9:00 pm at their dance studio at 1871 NW Gilman Blvd\, Suite 3.  The cost is $5 per person/per session.  These classes will be hosted by dance instructor\, Alyson Young of www.windancerintegrativearts.com\n\nPrizes will be awarded for best adult\, child and family costumes.
