Event Description:
What if you could design your future instead of having it just happen to you? The Power to Transform teaches you the strategies corporate, military, and sports leaders have used to do just that for themselves and their organizations! Yes, you can have the life of your dreams—here’s how.

Author of The Power to Transform, Chris Majer will speak to us about transformations in our business world. All attendees will have the benefit of meeting and learning from Chris and walk away with his book as well!

Speaker: Chris Majer
Chris Majer is the founder and CEO of the Human Potential Project (HP2).  He is a modern day entrepreneur, social innovator, and adventurer who has trekked the wilds of Africa, Alaska, and the Amazon.  He is a Rugby player with a Master Degree who has taught hand-to-hand combat to Marines, performance principles to the Special Forces, and leadership, management, strategy and innovation to the corporate world.

Chris was the principal architect of transformational projects for corporate clients such as AT&T, Cargill, Microsoft, Intel, EDS, Capital One, Amgen, and Allianz Life of North America.

The world as we know today is quickly moving from the Information Age to what Chris Majer calls the Coordination Age – and companies need to understand and pivot accordingly.  Companies are going to quickly sort out into two categories.

Those who see the future as a canvas for innovation and boldly create the future they desire. Those who think that business-as-usual is fine and if they wait long enough things will calm down. They believe in the 3 “Don’ts”: Don’t risk. Don’t innovate. Don’t invest.

Doing more of what you already know how to do only harder is likely a strategy for tragedy.  Instead, it is time for a new look at the future. A future that sets-up your company to be competitive in the face of ongoing rapid change.

Chris is the author of The Power to Transform, which all workshop attendees will be provided a complimentary copy of.
