PARTICIPATE IN THE ISSAQUAH EPICUREAN EXPERIENCE The Issaquah Chamber invites you to participate in a new event- Issaquah Epicurean Experience- March 9-29th. This new event concept is designed to bring people through your doors and feature Issaquah Chef’s creativity during a less busy time of year with a friendly competition. We will spend the entire month of March promoting the restaurants that participate, encouraging the public to dine out. In April we will promote the winners Local restaurants will select either an appetizer or dessert to be featured as their contest entry. Regional and local guests will visit participating restaurants once in a 3-week period and judge your culinary creations through an on-line voting system (prescheduled for your convenience). ISSAQUAH Epicurean Experience Nibble, Savor, Select! March 9th-29th Calling all Issaquah Chefs to create a signature appetizer and/or dessert to be savored and selected as the BEST in Issaquah!
Participating restaurants choose to enter an appetizer and/or dessert
Appetizer must include Salmon
Dessert must include locally grown berries
Entry Fee: $45 for members | $90 for non-members (20% discount for two entries- dessert and appetizer)
People’s choice- your guests vote on-line through the chamber’s website
Judging panel- selected judges visit on pre-determined date (restaurant will provide 4 complementary appetizers or desserts to judges)
Criteria- plating, taste, creative use of ingredients
Winners will receive a press party and the IEE Golden Spatula award to proudly display!
