Pencils & Pants: Eastside Baby Corner School Supplies & Clothing Drive

I wanted to share the exciting news with you that Eastside Baby Corner (EBC) will be collecting back to school supplies and school clothing for kids in need on Tuesday, August 24^th from 10 am-1 pm in the parking lot of Central Washington University (CWU) in Sammamish (address is 120 228^th Ave SE in Sammamish). The public is welcome and invited to come bring their donations of school supplies and school clothing to help kids in need be ready for school and school success (no appointment needed).
 
EBC is extremely low on school supplies for kids due to Covid.  We normally have a reserve of supplies for kids for the fall, but with little to no school supply collection drives last summer, we are looking at kids going back to school with no school supplies for the incoming school year and we help more than 1,700 kids every month.

As a result, we have been bringing our van to various cities to collect supplies and while this is helping, we need more help.  If you can’t join us next Tuesday, please share and post with your contacts.  I’ve attached a flyer that can be shared, which includes a list of school supplies and clothing that we need the most and I’ve also attached some pictures of past Donation Drop-off events that we have done in Renton and Redmond.

• Host a Collection Drive of School Supplies
• Order school supplies online from our Online Giving Catalog and have items shipped to EBC directly
• Give a financial gift that EBC will use to purchase school supplies
