During this 2-hour event, Issaquah Youth Advisory Board members will briefly present on the following topics:
1. Subtle racism seen in our everyday lives
2. What is Systemic Racism?
3. The Influence of Media on Racism
4. Why are so many people angry and demanding social change?
Following each presentation, participants will break-out into “rooms” for further discussion on that specific topic.
The event will end with a call to action: What can we do?
This event will be hosted on Zoom. Registration takes place through Eventbrite. For youth, Grades 6 – 12 An event for youth…. Planned by youth! Maximum of 100 registrants
