Dog owners and friends of dogs are invited to Walk’n Wag at Lake Sammamish State Park from 10 a.m. to noon on Sunday, March... 18.
Join us for a 3K in the morning; dog agility props will make it fun for pets and telescope heron viewing with a park ranger will make it interesting for people. For the first time FLSSP will also be hosting a judged pet show. Categories include best dressed, smallest dog, best eyes, dog/owner look alike, and best trick.
Pet-friendly vendors will be set up in the Doggie Village to share information and services with pet owners. Walkers without dogs are welcome to visit Doggie Village!
The first hundred registrants will receive a Walk’n Wag keepsake. Registration is $15 for children 15 and younger, $20 for adults, or $50 for a family of four. To register, go to www.EventBrite.com and search for Walk’n Wag. Registration will also be available the day of the event. Walk’n Wag is a fundraiser and all proceeds will benefit new amenities and beautification projects for Lake Sammamish State Park. All dogs must be on a leash.
