About Us
Tavon Learning Center is an Issaquah-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live fuller, more independent lives. Through experiential learning in nature, the community, and the classroom, Tavon helps participants build essential life skills, foster social connections, and discover personal growth opportunities. Our programs focus on three core areas: social development, independent living, and community engagement, using hands-on activities like gardening, art, and volunteer projects to promote confidence and inclusion. With two Issaquah campuses and a six-acre nature-rich site, Tavon offers a unique environment where learning and joy go hand in hand. Guided by values of dignity, growth, empowerment, and community, we envision a future where adults with disabilities thrive in inclusive communities and have equal access to lifelong learning. Every day, Tavon creates spaces where friendships flourish, families find respite, and individuals achieve their goals—because every community deserves a Tavon Center.
