A new source of news has arrived in Issaquah. The Issaquah Spotlight is a nonprofit digital newspaper focused exclusively on local issues. The website is now live and the first issue is available for free to subscribers.
Delivered weekly by email, The Issaquah Spotlight is dedicated to covering the people, decisions, businesses, schools, events and civic issues that matter most to the Issaquah community. The publication’s mission is to strengthen local connection and civic engagement through independent, trustworthy reporting focused on the greater Issaquah area.
“Our goal is to provide a trusted independent source of information that helps residents stay informed and connected to their community,” said Adam Pinsky, publisher and co-founder. “We believe strong local news helps Issaquah residents understand their community and feel empowered to participate in civic life.”
A subscription to the publication is free. Community members are invited to support its nonprofit mission through membership contributions. Local businesses can advertise and provide support through sponsorships.
Residents, business owners and community members are encouraged to subscribe and learn more at issaquahspotlight.org.
