DESCRIPTION:Issaquah City Council\, mayoral candidates to face off in forum\n\n  \n\nKiwanis Club of Issaquah and the Issaquah Cable TIV Commission will co-host a Candidate Forum for Issaquah City Council and Mayor candidates\, 7-9 p.m.\, Wednesday\, Sept. 27 in the City Council Chambers. The forum is open to the public.\n\nThe forum will first have the two mayoral candidates\, Paul Winterstein and Mary Lou Pauly\, answering prepared questions\, and some submitted by the public. The candidates will have an opportunity to ask each other the last question.\n\nUnopposed candidates Stacy Goodman\, Tola Marts and Justin Walsh will each have two minutes to introduce themselves and their positions.\n\nCandidates challenged for city council seats will then be presented with questions following their opening remarks. Christopher Reh and Bryan Weinstein are seeking Position 1. Richard Swanson and Mariah Bettise are vying for Position 2. These four candidates will also have an opportunity to ask their opponent the last question.\n\nCandidate questions for consideration may be emailed by Sept. 23 to judylhr@nwlink.com\, or submitted during the forum.\n\nThe forum will be repeated daily on Issaquah's Channel 21 until the Nov. 7 election.
