DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park will again be hosting the annual beach bonfire\n\nand lighted boat parade at Lake Sammamish State Park in Issaquah.\n\n \n\nThe fun begins at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday\, Dec. 2\, at Sunset Beach in Lake Sammamish State Park\, 2000 N.W. Sammamish Rd.\, Issaquah. The Issaquah Singers will lead holiday caroling. Beach bonfires will keep guests warm on the outside\, while hot chocolate will keep everyone warm on the inside. The lighted boat parade is organized by Lake Sammamish Yacht Club. Boat owners interested in participating should contact the club at 425-449-0070 or Jim.Mackey@gmail.com.\n\n \n\nParticipants should wear warm clothes\, sturdy shoes and gloves\, bring a flashlight and possibly a chair. This family-friendly event is free\, but a Discover Pass is needed for vehicle access to the park. If the weather presents a challenge\, the Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park will post updates at: LakeSammamishFriends.org or on the FLSSP Facebook page.
