Farewell to Chris and Jacque Chiechi

! After nearly 40 years of owning Fischer Meats, Chris and Jacque Chiechi are retiring! From a very early age it was Chris’ dream to own a market of his own and his dream was given a chance thanks to the generosity of the Fischer brothers all those years ago. Since then, Fischer Meats has continued to thrive and grow into the community favorite it is today. From all of us at Fischer’s, we want to say THANK YOU to Chris for building a business that is not only committed to providing excellent products and services to it’s customers, but also dedicated to making the community around it a better place to live.
We are thrilled to share that long-time employee and right-hand man to Chris, Josh McGehe and his wife Corissa, are taking over ownership of Fischer Meats. Josh and the guys remain committed to providing the highest level of service and products that our customers are accustomed to. Fischer’s truly is a “family business” - starting with the atmosphere it creates with its employees, to the many siblings, sons, daughters, and grandkids that continue to work there throughout the year. Huge thank you and congratulations to Josh and Corissa as they continue the legacy of the Fischer Meats family!
Chris and Jacque are looking forward to their next chapter! While they will miss being the ones to serve you behind the counter, they are so grateful for the many relationships they have built over the years and want to say thank you to the Issaquah community for helping their dreams come true.
We are planning a day of gratitude at the shop to recognize Chris this Saturday, June 11th from 12:00pm-5pm. We will be open for business as usual during this time, but for those that wish, this is your chance to say thank you to Chris for the last 4 decades and help us officially send him off to retirement! We hope to see many of you there!
