Ben Obomanu, Attorney & Former Professional Athlete - Seattle Seahawks
We are honored to welcome Ben Obomanu as our Keynote Speaker. Ben’s journey, from growing up in Selma, Alabama, to excelling in college and professional football, and ultimately achieving his long-held goal of becoming an attorney, is remarkable.
As the son of a special education teacher and now a parent himself, Ben brings a thoughtful and personal perspective on the importance of early learning and a strong support system for children.
In his keynote, Ben will share stories of perseverance and heart from his childhood to the NFL and beyond. He says, “Success, whether in football or in life, is never about one person. It’s about the connections, the foundations, and the support systems around you long before you ever step onto the field.”
Honorary Chairs:
Nicole & Clay Ritter, Devoted Advocates for Encompass and Cherished Community Members
We are delighted to welcome Nicole and Clay Ritter as our honorary chairs of the Inspire Breakfast. Their connection to Encompass began while working at Nintendo of America and attending the annual Encompass Gala year after year. Inspired by the powerful stories shared by local families, their appreciation grew even deeper when their own family benefited from Encompass through in-home physical therapy for one of their three children.
Over the years, they have generously contributed their time and leadership on both the Gala Committee and the Board of Directors, while also introducing countless families to Encompass and its services. More than 20 years later, they remain dedicated champions for children and families in our community, continuing to advocate with the same passion that first drew them to our mission.
Show your support by hosting a table or sponsoring the Inspire Breakfast.
