You are invited to roll up your sleeves and join in the annual citywide "Keep Issaquah Beautiful Day", Saturday, April 23rd, from 9:00am - 12:00pm at the Historic Shell Station (232 Front Street N, Issaquah, WA 98027).
This annual event is a collaborative effort among DIA, The Kiwanis Club of Issaquah, Influence the Choice, Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, Issaquah Rotary, Issaquah Alps Trails Club, Atlas Apartments, Issaquah Swim Team, Puget Sound Geocachers, and Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park offering great opportunities at the park.
Volunteers - both groups and individuals - are needed to spend a couple of hours making a difference in our community. Individuals, families, and groups are all welcome to help with trash pickup, vegetation maintenance, and flower planting with the Keep Issaquah Beautiful Day, city-wide spring cleanup, and beautification (planting) day. There are jobs for all ages and abilities and flexible schedules to get the work done.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own work gloves. This is a rain or shine program
Students can earn their community service hours. Bring a friend, make new friends! Make a difference.
