A Warm Welcome to Our New Executive Director

"Since my introduction to Recovery Beyond, the organization's dedicated staff, volunteers, and participants have continuously inspired me.

Joining the Board of Directors in 2023 allowed me to support the organization in a new capacity and gain deeper insights into our mission. In mid-December, I took on the role of interim Executive Director.

I am now more committed than ever to working with the team to realize our vision and mission!"

We are thrilled to announce the newest addition to our Recovery Beyond family, Bill Goodgion, who has recently joined us as our Executive Director. Bill brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and a passion for the outdoors to our team.

Bill's impressive career includes his most recent role as the Chief Operating Officer (North America) for Scan Global Logistics. Prior to that, he served as the President of Ascent Global Logistics and spent over 16 years with FedEx Trade Networks, where he held the position of Managing Director. We are confident that his strategic vision and operational expertise will drive our organization to new heights.

Beyond his professional achievements, Bill is a proud veteran, having served in the infantry in the Marine Corps. His commitment to service extends to his personal life, where he actively volunteers for several outdoor organizations. As the founder of PNW Peak Baggers, Bill exemplifies his passion for the outdoors through sharing knowledge and experience to connect more people to the beautiful PNW mountains.

Bill enjoys activities such as hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, skiing, climbing mountains, and trail running. Whether exploring the Pacific Northwest, Sierras, or Rockies, Bill's love for the mountains is evident.

In addition to his remarkable professional and personal pursuits, Bill has been a dedicated member of the Recovery Beyond Board of Directors for over a year. His involvement and contributions as a long-time volunteer and donor showcase his commitment to making a positive impact on the community.

Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Bill Goodgion as our new Executive Director. We are excited about the future under his leadership and look forward to achieving great milestones together.
